Join Vincentian Legal Services for our First Annual Raise the Bar Benefit. Bringing together legal professionals, community leaders, and supporters committed to expanding access to justice across Florida.
Every ticket helps fund legal advocacy for families and veterans who would otherwise face the legal system alone.
Enjoy an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community impact. Guests will hear from Vincentian Legal Services leadership and clients while connecting with members of the legal community.
The event includes:
With an annual operating budget of approximately $300,000, Vincentian Legal Services handles more than 400 legal matters each year. Every case requires time, preparation, court advocacy, and direct client support.
Your contribution helps make this work possible.
$400 funds a court motion or legal action
$700 funds one housing intervention
$2,700 funds one full eviction defense
$5,000 funds nearly two eviction defenses
$10,000 protects 3–4 families from eviction
Each dollar supports concrete legal action for someone who cannot afford private representation.
Legal representation costs far less than the social cost of homelessness, family destabilization, or unprotected survivors. When we intervene, families remain housed, children remain in school, and communities remain stable.
Justice has a cost. But so does injustice.
When you support eviction defense, you protect a veteran and stabilize a family.
She served eight years in the United States Air Force. Today, she is raising four children.
When her car broke down, she lost income and fell behind on rent. Eviction was imminent, threatening her family’s housing and her children’s stability.
Our team intervened before a writ of possession was executed. We negotiated, coordinated support, and helped ensure the family remained housed.
The cost of defending her case: $2,700.
The cost of doing nothing: far greater.
Every case we take represents someone who would otherwise face the legal system alone.
When families receive legal advocacy, they remain housed.
When veterans receive support, stability is preserved.
When parents receive guidance, children remain protected.
The Raise the Bar Benefit is more than an event. It is a commitment from our community to ensure that justice is not limited by income.
Together, we can expand access to legal protection for families across Florida.
